10-year-old girl disappears in Penang
By BERNARD SEE
PENANG: The parents of a 10-year-old schoolgirl are worried sick over the disappearance of their daughter who failed to return home after going out to buy a VCD on Sunday.
Recka, a Year Four schoolgirl, had asked for RM5 from her stepfather, Ahmad Omar, 49, to buy the VCD at about 9pm.
Ahmad, a second-hand goods trader, said she left their house in Kampong Kolam near Acheen Street here after he gave her the money.
“I began to worry when she failed to return home by midnight. I waited for her until 4am and then contacted my wife (Salma Sellamah Abdullah, 41) at work. She rushed to the Central police station to lodge a report,” he said at the station Wednesday.
Those who have seen the girl are urged to contact the Rakan COP hotline (04-2691 999).

Aaahhh... Malaysians mudah lupa...
If only Nurin Alert is already in place, this would have been highlighted by the media from day one.
Let's just hope the girl will be found soon - well and alive!
Helo Kak Pi,
Ya, will hope she is ok and will reunite with the parents.
