So young....

It seems the dreaded C attacks people of all ages. Really hope this young girl will pull through and when she does, i am sure she will be an inspiration to many. May the good Lord look after her.

Artest's daughter has kidney cancer

SACRAMENTO (AP) -- The youngest daughter of Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest is undergoing treatment for kidney cancer, the player told The Sacramento Bee.

Artest, a former Indiana Pacer, says doctors have told him they have a 90 percent chance of curing his 4-year-old daughter, Diamond.

Doctors normally would remove the cancerous kidney. But Diamond was born with just one kidney, so she will have to undergo chemotherapy to shrink the tumor before doctors decide whether to remove it surgically.

The girl lives with Artest's wife, Kimsha, in Indiana, and is receiving treatment there. Doctors discovered the cancer after Diamond complained of stomach pains.
