Sad email.....
Yesterday received a sms from my ex colleague asking me to check my email...said it was urgent. When i reached home and check the email another ex colleague called to inform me of the news (connected with the email). I told her i was just checking the email.
It seems one of our friend (also ex colleague), was diagnosed of a fatal liver illness, Hepatocellular Cancer. Doctor has indicated a very short survival life span. The only way out is through Liver Transplant.
I was shocked to read the mail. He is a very good person and lecturer...all the students he ever taught have high regards of him. Very active in church too.
He is only 48 years old and children (3 of them) is still young.
I pray that he and his family will pull through.

Sad to say, Wing, but chances of getting liver transplant in Malaysia is almost nil... I feel sorry for your ex-coworker.
Hi Cat,
Ya..its kinda sad. Will pray for the best.
It is really sad when the C word hit anyone and it doesn't discriminate :( I will pray tht he and his family will get through this ..
Helo Ms Envy,
Thank you for dropping by and your prayer.
I'm sorry to hear that. Pray hard for him and for a miracle. Hopefully he can accept it without fear too.
Hi Monica,
Thanks for dropping by and the kind words.
I am sure he is fine with what ever the outcome. Only worry about the family.
hi, a simple Pink Heart Tag for u. Have a nice day
Nightwing,
So sorry to hear about your friend. Now, to get transplant is going to be hard, especially when we have our Malaysian still skeptical about the whole picture of organ donation. I hope he will not lose hope...
Hope his family will stay positive in getting through this.
Hi Hazel,
Thanks for the tag.
Hey Brother Akmal,
Thanks for the kind words...and u r right about the donor thingy.
But will remain hopeful and positive about it.
Is that Uncle David you mentioned about??He was my lecturer..He is a very nice guy!!! I was almost crying when i heard so and the latest info is if there is no suitable liver to transplant..He will have another 9months to go.... My friends and I will go to take the test and if any one of our liver is suitable for him,we would donate it to him.. I hope he is ok......And i belief a good guy will get a good return... God bless
Nightwing, we all have to go one day. It does not matter how long our sojourn here on earth but the good deeds that we have done. God will take care of his children. Now he must take care of himself so he will be around as long as possible. My father died at age 47 of a stroke. I never thought I'd get over it but life goes on. We never forget, not even for a day. Now is the time to get closer and to spend the time left letting the people we love how much they mean to us. Take care!
Helo Anon 2:01am,
Yes it is him.
Agree, he is a fine man. Please let me know how the test went and where you and ur friends will be doing the test.
God bless you and your friends....may there will be a match.
Helo Kak,
