Doggie....

This stray dog and her puppy roamed around my neighbourhood.

For 2 years, i was not a fan of this dog, because she simply growl at people. I think at the time she just gave birth and might be protective of her pups. Have to admit though, some of her puppies are quite cute. They were taken away from her because she gave birth at one of my neighbours house. Do not know how they manage to take the pups cause she very aggressive type. The puppy in this picture is from 'recent' batch.

Only for the past few months, she seem to be ok with me and we (me and my wife) started to gave her things to eat. Cause she takes care of the neighbourhood. She will bark at strangers, so at night a very good watch dog.

She got a very good ear. She can be quite far away and yet when we open the house door, she will come right over to check whether we are giving food or not. Besides us, there is also another neighbour who gave her food.

Her puppy is a bit fearful of people, took her long time to get near us. Even now if we go closer to her, she will run away and bark at us. Initially i probably would not able to take the picture of the pup...cause she will hide away at the neighbours drain.

So what do we feed them? Initially just bread and water. Then one day my wife cooked some maggie mee (almost expiring)...doggie finished the mee fast..:) Bought some cheap biscuits to feed them too. When we eat outside...got any leftovers, will bring home for them too. She is more of a night dog....day time...sleeps. The photos i taken of them, evening time.

Usually feed them around 6pm. A few times we came home late and she will make a 'complaint' sound...as if telling us "why is our dinner so late?"...:) The sound is different from the normal dog sound..:)

At night, when i turned into my lorong, she seems to recognise my car and from far can see her wagging her tail and coming towards my car.

She understand simple command like 'wait' (she usually does this when waiting for her food)...and 'shake a leg'....i use my leg to shake her paw...haha. She will automatically use her left paw and after that her right paw. She seems to be a smart dog only bad thing is, she does not like to share food with her puppy. So we have to use to bowls.

My wife sometimes will give her massage..she loves it and will sit very still. Too bad her puppy still afraid of us..otherwise will 'manja' her too..:)

Oh ya...she has eaten cheesecake, strawberry toast, chocolate cookies, pancakes (almost expire), hot dogs with mee and because of this...sometimes she will eat slow...if we give her biscults to eat. Good food, she will finish under 2 minutes.

One thing about the puppy, her tail i think is quite long, she will sometimes chase its tail..running round and round and seems irritated about it.

Hehe...that is all for now.

Her 'waiting' position for food. See the puppy moving...still afraid of us.

Puppy...when she was young...more chubby and cute..now a bit slim.

Her makan 'station'. She drinks a lot.

Checking out what her mom is doing.

Stevie Wonder and Tiger Woods

Have a great week ahead to all of you..:)

Stevie Wonder and Tiger Woods are in a restaurant having dinner. Woods turns to Wonder and says, "How's the singing career going?"

Stevie Wonder replies, "Not too bad.. How's the golf?"

Woods replies, "Not too bad, I've had some problems with my swing, but I think I've got that going right now."

Stevie says, "I always find that when my swing goes wrong, I need to stop playing for a while and not think about it. Then, the next time I play, it seems to be all right."

Tiger says, "You play golf?"

Wonder says, "Oh, yes, I've been playing for years."

Woods says, "But you're blind! How can you play golf if you can't see?"

Wonder replies, "I get my caddy to stand in the middle of the
fairway and call to me. I listen for the sound of his voice and play the ball toward him. Then, when I get to where the ball lands, the caddy moves to the green or farther down the fairway and again I play the ball toward his voice."

"But how do you putt?" asks Woods.

"Well," says Stevie, "I get my caddy to lean down in front of the hole and call to me with his head on the ground, and I just play the ball toward his voice.

Woods asks, "What's your handicap?"

Stevie says, "Well, I'm a scratch golfer."

Woods, incredulous, says to Stevie, "We've got to play a round
sometime."

Wonder replies, "Well, people don't take me seriously, so I only
play for money, and never play for less than $10,000 a hole."

Woods thinks about it and says, "OK, I'm for that, when would you like to play?"

Stevie says, "Any dark night you want."

Marriage in heaven?

Nice one from Kl aunty..:) Hope you all will enjoy it.

On their way to get married, a young Catholic couple is involved in a fatal
car accident.

The couple find themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St.
Peter to process them into Heaven. While waiting, they begin to wonder:
Could they possibly get married in Heaven?

When St. Peter showed up, they asked him.

St. Peter said, “I don't know. This is the first time anyone has asked. Let
me go find out.” and he leaves.

The couple sat and waited, and waited. Two months passed and the couple are
still waiting. As they waited, they discussed that if they were allowed to
get married in Heaven, what was the eternal aspect of it all. “What if it
doesn't work?” they wondered, “Are we stuck together forever?”

After yet another month, St. Peter finally returns, looking somewhat
bedraggled.

“Yes,” he informs the couple, “you can get married in Heaven.”
'
“Great!” said the couple, “But we were just wondering, what if things don't
work out? Could we also get a divorce in Heaven?”

St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slammed his clipboard onto the ground.

“What's wrong?” asked the frightened couple.

“OH, COME ON!” St. Peter shouted, “It took me three months to find a priest
up here! Do you have any idea how long it'll take me to find a lawyer?!”

This is sick..

From Star. If this is true...may the culprit gets what is coming for them.

Dad and his friend raped me, says pregnant 15-year-old

JOHOR BARU: A 15-year-old girl who is seven months’ pregnant claims she has been raped for three years by her father and a friend of his.

It was learnt that the secondary school student, who lives with her parents, confessed to her aunt who took the girl to the Skudai police station to lodge a report.

Her 45-year-old lorry driver father and his 52-year-old plumber friend, were picked up at their homes in Kempas on Saturday.

They have been remanded until May 2 to assist in investigations.

Johor Baru (North) OCPD Asst Comm Ruslan Hassan said the girl was believed to have been raped repeatedly by both men since she was 12 years old.

“She told police that the father had repeatedly raped her at their house in Taman Sinaran while his friend had raped her at other locations.

“She also claimed that the last time her father raped her was early this month,” he said.

The girl has been sent to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital for a medical check-up.

In another case, five Indonesians, including two women, were detained during a raid on a Taman Daya house at about 6pm on Saturday.

They are being held in connection with 15 robbery cases in the city.

Nice one....

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, ' Tell me what you see.'

'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, 'What does it mean, mother?'

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently.

The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of every thing; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.

Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

You might want to send this message to those people who mean something to you (I JUST DID); to those who have touched your life in one way or another; to those who make you smile when you really need it; to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down; to those whose friendships you appreciate; to those who are so meaningful in your life.

If you don't send it, you will just miss out on the opportunity to brighten someone's day with this message!

May we all be COFFEE!!!!!

Sad case...

Got this from CNN....makes u wonder why some kids are so bad. Should be a law against bullying. For those who have children...please make sure they are protected from being bullied.

My bullied son's last day on Earth
By Mallory Simon
CNN

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Eleven-year-old Jaheem Herrera woke up on April 16 acting strangely. He wasn't hungry and he didn't want to go to school.

But the outgoing fifth grader packed his bag and went to school at Dunaire Elementary School in DeKalb County, Georgia.

He came home much happier than when he left in the morning, smiling as he handed his mother, Masika Bermudez, a glowing report card full of A's and B's. She gave him a high-five and he went upstairs to his room as she prepared dinner.

A little later, when his younger sister called him to come down to eat, Jaheem didn't answer.

So mother and daughter climbed the stairs to Jaheem's room and opened the door.

Jaheem was hanging by his belt in the closet.

"I always used to see these things on TV, dead people on the news," says Bermudez. "I saw somebody die and to see this dead person is your son, hanging there, a young boy. ... To hang yourself like that, you've got to really be tired of something."

Bermudez says bullies at school pushed Jaheem over the edge. He complained about being called gay, ugly and "the virgin" because he was from the Virgin Islands, she said.

"He used to say Mom they keep telling me this ... this gay word, this gay, gay, gay. I'm tired of hearing it, they're telling me the same thing over and over," she told CNN, as she wiped away tears from her face.

But while she says her son complained about the bullying, she had no idea how bad it had gotten.

"He told me, but he just got to the point where he didn't want me to get involved anymore because nothing was done," she said.

Bermudez said she complained to the school about bullying seven or eight times, but it wasn't enough to save him.

"It [apparently] just got worse and worse and worse until Thursday," she said. "Just to walk up to that room and see your baby hanging there. My daughter saw this, my baby saw this, my kids are traumatized."

She said Jaheem was a shy boy just trying to get a good education and make friends.
"He was a nice little boy," Bermudez said through her tears. "He loved to dance. He loved to have fun. He loved to make friends. And all he made [at school] were enemies."

Bermudez said she thinks her son felt like nobody wanted to help him, that nobody stood up and stopped the bullies.

"Maybe he said 'You know what -- I'm tired of telling my mom, she's been trying so hard, but nobody wants to help me,' " says Bermudez.

After Jaheem's death, the school board expressed condolences, saying the school staff "works diligently to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students."

Trying desperately to understand what went wrong, Bermudez asked her son's best friend to recount what happened on the day Jaheem killed himself.

"He [said he was] tired of complaining, tired of these guys messing with him," Bermudez said, recalling the conversation with Jaheem's best friend. "Tired of talking, I think to his teachers, counselors and nobody is doing anything -- and the best way out is death."

Allegations of such severe bullying surprises experts familiar with the school district. It's anti-bullying program was considered exemplary and includes programs to raise awareness and a specially trained liaison. Students are even asked to sign a no-bullying pledge. But other parents told CNN they have complained about bullying as well.

Despite recent strides towards preventing bullying in schools and increased awareness programs, a Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network study showed that 65 percent of teens are bullied each year and most believe adults can't help them.

Less than a month before Jaheem's death, a boy in Massachusetts killed himself after being bullied, harassed and called "gay."

Eliza Byard, executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, says to be effective, awareness programs need to include education about the harm that can be done by teasing someone about sexuality or perceived sexuality.

"Anti-gay language is really the ultimate weapon for a bully who wants to degrade his or her peers," she says. "And any effective response to bullying has to take that on."

Bermudez doesn't understand why the children at school couldn't learn to get along. Because of it, she'll never get to see her son grow up.

"My baby, that's my only boy, and I lost him now," says Bermudez. "He was my first child and ... to lose him 11 years after, he didn't live his life."

She hopes her son's death will result in positive changes that will help other kids being bullied.

"Those that are being bullied -- they need to talk to their parents, they need to not hold back," she says. "I lost my son and now something has to be done."

Susan Boyle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Boyle

Susan Boyle (born 1961)[2] is a Scottish[3] amateur singer and church volunteer who came to public attention on 11 April 2009,[4] when she appeared as a contestant on the third series of Britain's Got Talent.[5] Boyle found fame when she sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables in the competition's first round.[6]

Before she sang, both the audience and the judges appeared to express scepticism based on her unpolished appearance. In contrast, her vocal performance was so well received that she has been dubbed "The Woman Who Shut Up Simon Cowell."[7] She received a standing ovation from the live audience, garnering yes-votes from Cowell and Amanda Holden, and the "biggest yes I have ever given anybody" from Piers Morgan.[8] The audition was recorded in January 2009 at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland,[9] and was first broadcast on Saturday, 11 April 2009 in Britain.

The juxtaposition of the reception to her voice with the audience's first impression of her triggered global interest. Articles about her appeared in newspapers all over the world, while the numbers who watched videos of her audition set an online record.[10] By 20 April 2009, a mere 9 days after her televised debut, viral videos of her audition, subsequent interviews of her, and her 1999 rendition of "Cry Me a River" had been viewed over 100 million times on the Internet.[11] Cowell is reported to be setting up a contract with Boyle with his Syco Music company label, a subsidiary of Sony Music.[12]

Television performance
In August 2008, when Boyle became aware that Britain's Got Talent would be holding auditions, she applied and was accepted for the audition, which took place in Glasgow in January 2009. Boyle, contestant number 4,321, performed a rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables in the first round of the third series of Britain's Got Talent, which aired on April 11 and was watched by an average of 10.3 million viewers.[31] This performance was widely reported, and millions of people viewed a video of her singing on YouTube.[31] The strength of this reaction reportedly shocked and amazed Boyle, who later said she was "gobsmacked".[32]

Boyle is well aware that the audience on Britain's Got Talent was initially hostile to her because of her appearance, but she has refused to change her image:

“ I know what they were thinking, but why should it matter as long as I can sing? It’s not a beauty contest. ”
—Susan Boyle, The Sunday Times[15]

Within the week following her performance on Britain's Got Talent, Boyle was a guest on STV's The Five Thirty Show.[42] She was interviewed via satellite on CBS's Early Show,[19] ABC's Good Morning America,[43] and NBC's Today, and via a telephone interview on FOX's America's Newsroom.[44] In an interview, Simon Cowell said Boyle had received an invitation to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show and predicted that if she did appear "there's every chance Susan Boyle will have the number one album in America".[43]

She also appeared via satellite on CNN's Larry King Live opposite Piers Morgan, who apologized to Boyle for not giving her "anything like the respect" she deserved when she walked out on the stage before singing.[45] Boyle went on to perform an a cappella verse of "My Heart Will Go On" on King's show about which Morgan remarked, "That was just absolutely stunning. To sing that with no musical backing is unbelievable." He previously invited Boyle to have dinner with him in London, and she accepted.[46]

Social analysis
Boyle's sudden fame has drawn much commentary on why this story was so widely reported and what it implies, while others drew moral lessons from people's reactions to her performance.[57] For instance, writing in The Herald, Collette Douglas-Home described Boyle's story as a modern parable and a rebuke to people's tendency to judge others based on their physical appearance.[58] Similarly, Lisa Schwarzbaum, in an article in Entertainment Weekly, said that Boyle's performance was particularly moving as it was a victory for talent and artistry in a culture obsessed with physical attractiveness and presentation.[59] Commenting on the audience's reactions before she started singing, Boyle said:

“ Modern society is too quick to judge people on their appearances. [...] There is not much you can do about it; it is the way they think; it is the way they are. But maybe this could teach them a lesson, or set an example. ”
—Susan Boyle, The Washington Post[6]

After Boyle's performance, Holden said:

“ I am so thrilled because I know that everybody was against you. I honestly think that we were all being very cynical, and I think that's the biggest wake-up call ever. And I just want to say that it was a complete privilege listening to that. ”
—Amanda Holden, Britain's Got Talent[60]

Cameron Mackintosh, the producer of the Les Misérables musical, also praised the performance, stating:

“ Just like the judges and audience, I was gob-smacked by the emotional powerhouse performance of Susan Boyle's show-stopping rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream". Vocally, it is one of the best versions of the song I've ever heard—touching, thrilling and uplifting. I do hope she gets to sing it for the Queen. ”
—Cameron Mackintosh[31]

Echoing Amanda Holden's comments, Jeanne McManus wrote in The Washington Post that, in talent shows such as Britain's Got Talent, one of the main sources of drama is the collision between performers' sometimes exaggerated sense of self-worth and the opinions and reactions of their audience.[61] In Boyle's case, McManus believed that her initial demeanour and homely appearance caused the judges and audience to be "waiting for her to squawk like a duck".[61] Indeed, New York's Daily News said that it was this stark contrast between the audience's low expectations and the quality of her singing that made Boyle's performance such an engaging piece of television.[62] This article also noted that the idea of an underdog being ridiculed or humiliated but then enjoying an unexpected triumph is a common trope in literature and that this is why, when this theme made its unscripted appearance in reality television, it created an enduring and powerful effect.[62]

On the other hand, although this audience reaction was unscripted, it may have been anticipated. Writing in The Huffington Post, Mark Blankenship noted that the producers of the show would have been aware of the potential of this story arc, stating that the programme seemed to deliberately present Boyle in a manner that would enhance this initial reaction.[63] He does note, however, that "as fabricated as it is, her on-camera arc is undeniably moving".[63] The fact that Boyle is in her forties has also been cited as contributing to this strong emotional impact. In another Huffington Post article, Letty Cottin Pogrebin wrote that people may have been "weeping for the years of wasted talent", since most of Boyle's life has been spent in obscurity and those wasted years can never be recovered.[64] All the same, Pogrebin still classed Boyle's performance as a triumph for what she called "women of a certain age", as she saw it as representing a victory over a youth culture that often dismisses middle-aged women.[64]

Tanya Gold wrote in The Guardian that the difference between Boyle's hostile reception and the more neutral response to Paul Potts in his first audition reflected society's expectation that women be both good-looking and talented, with no such expectation existing for men.[65] In a similar vein, Mary Elizabeth Williams wrote on Salon.com that Boyle's performance reminded people that "not all fortysomething women are sleek, Botoxed beauties," going on to say that Boyle's sudden fame came from her ability to remind her audience that, like them, she is a normal, flawed and vulnerable person, familiar with disappointment and mockery, but who nevertheless has the determination to fight for her dream.[66]

Several media sources have commented that Boyle's success seemed to have particular resonance in the United States of America. Writing in The Scotsman, Craig Brown quoted a U.S. entertainment correspondent who compared Boyle's story to the American Dream, in that it represented talent overcoming adversity and poverty.[67] The Associated Press described this as Boyle's "hardscrabble story", dwelling on her modest lifestyle and what they saw as urban deprivation in her home town.[22] Similarly, The Independent New York correspondent David Usborne wrote that America is a country that will always respond to "the fairy tale where the apparently unprepossessing suddenly becomes pretty, from Shrek to My Fair Lady".[68] Piers Morgan, one of the show's judges, also commented on the unusual power this story seemed to have in the US, noting that "Americans can be very moved by this sort of thing", and likening Boyle's rise to fame from poverty and obscurity to that of the fictional boxer Rocky Balboa.[50]

Shell Oil Comments - A MUST READ!

Some of you may have read this but no warm in getting a reminder.

Safety Alert! Here's some reasons why we don't allow cell phones in operating areas, propylene oxide handling and storage area, propane, gas and diesel refueling areas.

The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations

In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline pump.

In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car!

And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while they were fueling their car.

You should know that:
Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes

Mobile phones that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to provide a spark for ignition

Mobile phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers, boat, Etc.

Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (i.e., solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc.)

T o sum it up, here are the: Four Rules for Safe Refueling

1) Turn off engine
2) Don't smoke
3) Don't us e your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or turn it off
4) Don't re-enter your vehicle during fueling

Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try and make people aware of fires as a result of 'static electricity' at gas pumps. His company has researched 150 cases of these fires.

His results were very surprising:
1) Out of 150 cases, almost all of them were women.
2) Almost all cases involved the person getting back in their vehicle while the nozzle was still pumping gas. When finished, they went back to pull the nozzle out and the fire started, as a result of static.
3) Most had on rubber-soled shoes.
4) Most men never get back in their vehicle until completely finished. This is why they are seldom involved in these types of fires.
5) Don't ever use cell phones when pumping gas
6) It is the vapors that come out of the gas th at cause the fire, when connected with static charges.
7) There were 29 fires where the vehicle was re-entered and the nozzle was touched during refueling from a variety of makes and models. Some resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle, to the station, and to the customer.
8) Seventeen fires occurred before, during or immediately after the gas cap was removed and before fueling began.

Mr. Renkes stresses to NEVER get back into your vehicle while filling it with gas.

If you absolutely HAVE to get in your vehicle while the gas is pumping, make sure you get out, close the door TOUCHING THE METAL, before you ever pull the nozzle out. This way the static from your body will be discharged before you ever remove the nozzle.

As I mentioned earlier, The Petroleum Equipment Institute, along with several other companies now, are really trying to make the public aware of this danger. You can find out more information by going to Once here, click in the center of the screen where it says 'Stop Static'.

I ask you to please send this in formation to ALL your family and friends, especially those who have kids in the car with them while pumping gas. If this were to happen to them, they may not be able to get the children out in time. Thanks for passing this along.

Warning....area code 809...

Got this from email...some of you may have read it.

About Area Code......809

We actually received a call last week from the 809 area code. The woman said 'Hey, this is Karen. Sorry I missed you--get back to us quickly. I Have something important to tell you.' Then she repeated a phone number beginning with 809.
'We didn't respond'.

Then this week, we received the following e-mail: Subject: Don't Ever dial area code 809, 284 and 876

This is very important information provided to us by AT&T. Don't Ever dial area code 809

This one is being distributed all over the US. This is pretty scary, especially given the way they try to get you to call. They get you to call by telling you that it is information about a family member who has been ill or to tell you someone has-been arrested, died, or to let you know you have won a wonderful prize, etc. In each case, you are told to call the 809 number right away. Since there are so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls.

If you call from the US or Canada , you will apparently be charged $2,425 per-minute... Or, you'll get a long recorded message. The point is, they will try to keep you on the phone as long as possible to increase the charges.. Unfortunately, when you get your phone bill, you'll often be charged more than $24,100.00.

Why It Works:

The 809 area code is located in the British Virgin Islands (The Bahamas)..

The charges afterwards can become a real nightmare. That's because you did actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone company and your long distance carrier will not want to get involved and will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company that argues they have done nothing wrong.

Please forward this entire message to your friends, family and colleagues to help them become aware of this scam

Warning...

Got this from Email...

PASS THIS ON EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE IT

Recently this past week, Nicole Dishuk (age 31...newly graduated student with a doctoral degree about to start her new career as a Doctor...) was flown into a nearby hospital, because she passed out.

They found a blood clot in her neck, and immediately took her by helicopter to the ER to operate. By the time they removed the right half of her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain; the clot had spread to her brain causing severe damage.

Since last Wednesday night, she was battling.... they induced her into a coma to stop the blood flow, they operated 3 times... Finally, they said there was nothing left that they could do... they found multiple clots in the left side of her brain... the swelling wouldn't stop, and she was on life support...

She died at 4:30 yesterday. She leaves behind a husband, a 2yr old Brandon and a 4yr old Justin... The CAUSE of DEATH - they found was a birth control she was taking that allows you to only have your period 3 times a year... They said it interrupts life's menstrual cycle, and although it is FDA approved... shouldn't be - So to the women in my address book - I ask you to boycott this product & deal with your period once a month - so you can live the rest of the months that your life has in store for you.

*Please send this to every woman you know - you may save someone's life... Remember, you have a CYCLE for a reason!

The name of this new birth control pill is LYBREL . If you go to Lybrel.com http://lybrel .com/, you will find at least 26 pages of information regarding this drug.

The second birth control pill is, SEASONIQUE . If you go to the website of, Seasonique.com http://seasonique .com /, you will find 43 pages of information regarding this drug.

The warnings and side effects regarding both pills are horrible.

Please, please forward this information to as many daughters AND sons, co-workers, friends and relatives. Several lives have already been changed.

warning...

Email from a friend....take special care and if this can happened in Cherasit can happened anywhere in Malaysia...so please read.

Hi all,This incident happened to me and be very careful if you ever encounter suchcase in future. On Thur 5 Feb, I was driving home after work in the afternoon. quite anumber of cars on the road. I was driving near the UE3, Taman Miharja,

Cheras when 2 Indian guys on a motorbike honked me and pointed to the passenger-side wheel. I slowed down, not stopping but they kept honkingand pointing to the wheel. Finally, I stopped at the side of the road in front of the UE3 complex. The 2 guys stopped and came down from theirbike. One has the "BMW" name and logo on his blue shirt. While theotherguy squatted in fron of the passenger-side wheel (I cant see him), the

"BMW" guy came to the passenger side. My car is always locked when Idriveand I lowered the passenger=side window about 2 inch to talk with him.Speaking in Malay, he told me my wheel has smoke and oil. I hesitated evaluating the situation, and he then bend down at the wheel and came upshowing me his finger with some oil on it. He said my brake oil is leakingand cannot drive and ask me to go down out to see the wheel. Pointing to

Taman Pertama which is just nearby, I told him I stay there and will go tomy mechanic there for check-up. He kept insisting I dont drive as my brakesare not working and can get an accident. He kept asking me to go down and look at the wheel. I said no and I drove off. Giving this "GoodSamaritan"the benefit of the doubt, I drove home very slowly in case I really cannotbrake the car. 10 min later I arrived at my mechanic shop which is quite near to my house. I ask the mechanic if there is any oil in the wheel, hetouched it and said yes and possible brake oil is leaking. He took it intothe workshop and took out the wheel. Lo and behold, there was no leak, all dry.

There was some oil at the brake pd and at the back of the tyre. Hetook out the driver-side tyre and it was dry too. He told me the onlypossible answer was that someone must have poured oil into my wheel. He washed the tyres and cleaned up the oil and then I went off.I didnt tell the mechanic what had happened earlier but putting 2 and 2together, I think I know what happened. The 2 Indian guys stopped me. While one was talking with me, the other guy

squatting at the wheel must have poured some oil into my wheel, making methink my car's brake oil was leaking and in panic, I might go down andcheck (that's why he kept asking me to go down and see). If I go out of the car to see, the following things can happen:-1. one guy will drive off with my car (hoping in panic I'll leave the carkeys in the car) while the other will ride off in his motorbike.2. they will threaten and rob me (with or without injury)

3. they will say they can repair my car very fast with no hassle andcharge me a bomb.Looking at the crime situation in KL these days, I think either one of thefirst 2 possibilities will happen. Thank God, I was alert and didnt panic.

So for you drivers in KL, please be careful and be alert at all times whiledriving. Dont be so gullible and take all "Good Samaritan" word astrue. If it happens drive to the nearest police station or mechanic workshop.

The worst thing that can happen is to buy 2 brand new tyres (if tyres arekaput) or pay to repair for the damage done to the car. Cheaper than yourlife or your car.So drive carefully. Cheers.Dear Friends - In short don't STOP and proceed to drive home or to the police station. There are no more "Good Samaritan" around (all deadby now)....but thieves and robbers ONLY after your money and life.

What do u think..?

This is from CNN. Do you think companies should use government money/bail out to pay bonuses?

AIG's insistence on bonuses raises ire in Washington

CNN) -- White House officials and some members of Congress reacted strongly Sunday to news that insurance giant AIG had intended to pay out $165 million in bonuses and compensation. The company has received at least $170 billion in federal bailout money.

In a letter to the White House, AIG Chairman Edward Liddy, shown here in December, vows to curb bonuses.

Under pressure from the Treasury, AIG scaled back the bonus plans and pledged to reduce 2009 bonuses -- or "retention payments" -- by at least 30 percent. That did little to temper outrage at the initial plan, however.

In a letter Sunday to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold urged the Obama administration to explore "legal options" to prevent the millions in AIG payouts.

"I write to ask why any bonuses would be legally required, given the company's abysmal performance," says Feingold, D-Wisconsin.

Feingold asked whether the bonuses could be canceled or recouped from recipients, and whether the administration will sue AIG executives for breaching their duties to shareholders

"There are a lot of terrible things that have happened in the last 18 months, but what's happened at AIG is the most outrageous," Lawrence Summers, head of the National Economic Council, told ABC's "This Week."

"What that company did, the way it was not regulated, the way no one was watching, what's proved necessary, it is outrageous."

And on "Fox News Sunday," White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee said Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was "really upset by the news."

"He stepped in and berated them, got them to reduce the bonuses following every legal means he has to do this," Goolsbee said.

In a letter to Geithner, obtained Saturday by CNN, AIG Chairman and CEO Edward Liddy said his company was taking steps to limit compensation in AIG Financial Products -- the British-based unit responsible for issuing the risky credit default swaps that have brought the company to the brink of collapse. The default swaps amount to insurance against losses from bad loans, which have increased dramatically since the U.S. housing boom peaked.

In the letter to Geithner, Liddy said the unit's 25 highest-paid contract employees will reduce their salaries to $1 this year and all other officers in the unit will reduce their salaries by 10 percent. Other "non-cash compensation" will be reduced or eliminated. But he told Geithner that some bonus payments are binding legal obligations of the company, and "there are serious legal, as well as business consequences for not paying."

Rep. Barney Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, told Fox that bailout recipients should have to follow stricter compensation rules, and said Congress should look into whether the bonuses are "legally recoverable."

"We can't just violate legal obligations, I understand that," the Massachusetts Democrat said. "But I do want to find out at what point these legal obligations were incurred. Who said, and at what point, 'We're going to give these bonuses no matter what?' And I do think it's inappropriate for those people to stay in power at that company."

Frank said that if banks complain that the Obama administration has made things too tough, "They can give the money back. We made that easy."

Goolsbee said AIG was following "a policy that's really not sensible, is obviously going to ignite the ire of millions of people."

"We've done exactly what we can do to prevent this kind of thing from happening again," Goolsbee said. Summers told ABC that the administration was taking "every legal step possible to limit those bonuses."

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tennessee, told "Fox News Sunday" he believes it's important to know whether the bonuses are actually commission payments for products sold by brokers, saying he would withhold judgment until that is clarified.

However, "I do think that these entities that are receiving government money, our money, I do think they have to play by a different set of rules," Corker said. Hopefully, those different rules will discourage companies from accepting bailout funds, he said.

Liddy, however, makes clear in the letter that he took steps to limit his employees' compensation with trepidation. He said the company will have trouble attracting and retaining "the best and the brightest ... if employees believe that their compensation is subject to continued and arbitrary adjustment by the U.S. Treasury."

AIG lost a record $62 billion in the fourth quarter of 2008. It has more than 74 million insurance policies issued in 130 countries around the world.

Tips..

Got this from KL Aunty. Never know when one might experience it.

What to do when you are trapped in a lift?

We never know when and where accidents will happen to us OR people around us.
Read on and hope this piece of information may help any of us when things do happen to ourself, our friends and our loved ones.

One day, while in a lift, it suddenly broke down and it was falling from level 13 in a fast speed.
Fortunately, I remembered watching a TV program that taught you must quickly press all the buttons for all the levels.
Finally, the lift stopped at the 5th level.

When you are facing life and death situations, whatever decisions or actions you make decides your survival.
If you are caught in a lift breakdown, first thought in
mind may be 'waiting to die'...

But after reading below, things will definitely be different the next time you are caught in a lift.

First – Quickly press all the different levels of buttons in the lift.

Second – Hold on tight to the handle (if there is any).

Third – Lean your back and head against the wall forming a straight line.

Fourth – Bend your knees

Reason – When the lift falls, you will not know when it will hit the ground, and it may result in whole body bone fracture.

Point 1 – When the emergency electricity supply is being activated, it will stop the lift from falling further.

Point 2 – It is to support your position and prevent you from falling or getting hurt when you lost your balance.

Point 3 – Leaning against the wall is to use it as a support for your back/spine as protection.

Point 4 – Ligament is a flexible, connective tissue. It can be attached to the bone
part of the activities,
but limit the scope of their activities in order to avoid injury.
Thus, the impact of fractured bones will be minimised from the severe pressure during fall.

For everyone, do send out this piece of information to all.

Warning....

Not sure if it is true or not.

Be warned: Talcum powder can cause cancer!

CAP warns of ovarian cancer risk in talcum powder

GEORGE TOWN: Instead of using talcum powder which poses health risks, consumers should use traditional bedak sejuk (rice talcum), says the Consumers Association of Penang (CAP).

The association made the call following findings in the United States that suggest that women who use talcum powder are 40% more likely to suffer from ovarian cancer.
Women with ovarian cancer used talcum powder on their genitals more frequently than healthy women« S.M. MOHD IDRIS

CAP president S.M. Mohd Idris said bedak sejuk (powder made from rice flour) and powder made from corn flour were good alternatives to talcum powder.
He cited a study from the Harvard Medical School in the United States that found, from a sample of more than 3,000 women, that those using talcum once a week had a 36% higher risk of getting ovarian cancer while those using talcum daily faced a 41% higher risk.

A website that provides medical news, www.news-medical.net, reported that the study also revealed that the risk was greater still for those with a certain genetic profile.

The study’s lead researcher, Dr Maggie Gates, was also reported as saying that women should avoid using talcum powder in the genital area until more research was done,
Mohd Idris told a press conference yesterday that, despite the dangers associated with talcum powder, there were numerous talcum powder products in the market.
Some of these products were also baby products, he said.

“The majority of talcum products are being produced by well-known players in the industry and consumers buy them as they love the feel of talcum on their skin,” he added.

“Powder is an effective absorbent to help deodorise and imparts a silky touch.”
Mohd Idris said the primary component in talcum powder is magnesium silicate hydroxide, also commonly known as talc, which is the main ingredient in baby, medicated and designer perfumed body powder.

“Talc particles are capable of moving up the reproductive system and being embedded in the ovary lining,” he said.

“Researchers have found talc particles in ovarian tumour and they have also discovered that women with ovarian cancer used talcum powder on their genitals more frequently than healthy women.”

He urged the Health Ministry to place a warning on products containing talc and to stop the marketing of baby powder containing talc.

Jokes for Monday...

Got this email from a friend. Have a great week ahead now...cheers.

Since "blonde" is a state of mind, my profound apologies to all the very smart blondes I know!

6 degrees of blonde

FIRST DEGREE

A married couple were asleep when the phone rang at 2 in the morning.
The wife (undoubtedly blonde), picked up the phone, listened a moment
and said 'How should I know,
that's 200 miles from here!' and hung up.
The husband said, 'Who was that?' The wife said, 'I don't know,
some woman wanting to know if the coast is clear.'

:*´`´*:-.,_,.-:*´`´*

SECOND DEGREE

Two blondes are walking down the street. One notices a compact on
the sidewalk and leans down to pick it up. She opens it, looks in the
mirror and says, 'Hmm, this person looks familiar.' The second blonde
says, 'Here, let me see!' So the first blonde hands her the compact.
The second one looks in the mirror and says, 'You dummy, it's me!'

´`´*:-.,_,-:*´`´*:-.,_,.-:*´`´*

THIRD DEGREE

A blonde suspects her boyfriend of cheating on her,
so she goes out and buys a gun. She goes to his apartment
unexpectedly and when she opens the door she finds him
in the arms of a redhead....
Well, the blonde is really angry.
She opens her purse to take out the gun, and as she does so,
she is overcome with grief.
She takes the gun and puts it to her head.
The boyfriend yells, 'No, honey, don't do it!!!'
The blonde replies, 'Shut up, you're next!'

`´*:-.,_,-:*´`´*:-.,_,.-:*´`´*

FOURTH DEGREE

A blonde was bragging about her knowledge of state capitals.
She proudly says, 'Go ahead, and ask me, I know all of them.'
A friend says, 'OK, what's the capital of Wisconsin ?'
The blonde replies, 'Oh, that's easy: W.'

*´`´*:-.,_,-:*´`´*:-.,_,.-:*´`´*

FIFTH DEGREE

What did the blonde ask her doctor when he told her she was pregnant?
'Is it mine?'

*´`´*:-.,_,-:*´`´*:-.,_,.-:*´`´*

SIXTH DEGREE

Returning home from work, a blonde was shocked to find her house
ransacked and burglarised.
She telephoned the police at once and reported the crime.
The police dispatcher broadcast the call on the radio, and a K-9 unit, patrolling nearby was the first to respond.
As the K-9 officer approached the house with his dog on a leash, the blonde ran out on the porch, shuddered at the sight of the cop and his dog, then sat down on the steps.
Putting her face in her hands, she moaned, 'I come home to find all my possessions stolen. I call the police for help, and what do they do?
They send me a BLIND policeman...'

CNY 2009

It has not been a good CNY for the state and my city.

Has been flooding in a lot of area. And in my city itself there has been 2 landslides. One on the 16 of January...destroyed a petrol station and lost of 2 lives (happened around 1 am).

Second landslide on the 30.1.2009...happened during day time...lucky no lost of lives. About 5-8 houses got hit. Thank God few years ago, the government asked people to move to another location. If not there would have been more houses gotten hit.

Two nights ago, one guy played the fireworks...it was raining a bit. He lit the fire work thingy...initially it did not go off..so he went to have a look..when he looked..the firework went off...poor guy...died on the spot.

Last year the rain average was 400mm per month. January 2009 already saw the rainfall hit 890mm. As i am posting this..it is raining out there. One of the road leading to another city (just 28 km out of my city) have collapsed too. And a few more in dangerous level.

Hope this will end soon ....May God look after those who are going through this.
